In other news, Lee DeWyze wins American Idol, Alicia Keys is supposedly with child, Xtina cancels summer tour due to "time constraints" but word is it was actually due to poor ticket sales, and this is my first post done from my blackberry! Fantasia wasnt my favorite winner, I will admit that. Hell, she wasn't even someone I wanted to win that season. However, I think that this performance is so emotional, and so amazing, so it deserves a spot at the top of the list! Give it a listen, and check back tomorrow for the #1 moment.

Betty White is Hot!

Hot in Cleveland, that is! Betty White FINALLY has a new show coming to television, and its called Hot In Cleveland. The show is being aired on TV Land network, and is set to start June 16th. The early word on the street is that this is the "new" Golden Girls, but we all know there will never be any replacing the glory of that show. I realize that this has nothing to do with fashion or music, but Betty White is a goddess, and I felt the need to share this exciting news! Honk if you love Betty! "Honk Honk!"

Moment Of Greatness pt. 3

Moment Of Greatness #3 - Lee Dewyze singing Hallelujah.

Not very much needs to be said about this, because it just happened a week ago. This was Simon Cowells song choice for Lee, and it was an amazing selection. This is one of the best versions of this song I have ever heard, not to mention the fact that this song is one of the greatest songs EVER written. While, Crystal would be my first pick for who I hope wins on wednesday, I have to give it up to Lee with this performance.

So, I know this is going to make it seem like we have this american idol theme right now, but I swear this isn't because of the finale coming or anything. If you were a watcher of american idol season two, or if you tune into tv guide channel, you will be familiar with the singer of this song, Kimberly Caldwell. I was not a big fan of her when she was on the show, but I have met her before, and she is a very nice person. When I heard she was finally releasing her debut album, I had to give it a listen. The first single is "Mess Of You", and I have to say I think it is amazing. I heard it for the first time earlier this morning and I have listened to it a good ten times already probably. Not only does she look incredible in this video, but she has such an amazing and powerful tone. She has come a long way from her Idol days, and I wish her all the luck in the world. So please give it a listen, and let us know what you think!

Moments of greatness pt.2

The #4 greatest moment on American Idol - Frenchie Davis audition.

How can we forget the AMAZING Frenchie. This video pretty much speaks for itself. To this day it is still the only audition to get not only a standing ovation from Randy and Paula, but Simon actually claps (something normally only seen at the finale), and you can even hear the production crew cheering. This is probably the best audition American Idol has ever seen, and there is little hope of being able to top this one. Sadly, Frenchie was disqualified from the competition because it came out that she had posed nude on a website in order to earn some money to pay for college. Don't fret fans, Frenchie has had a very successful run on broadway and is currently breaking into the film industry. I don't care if she got naked for the world, the girl can sing!

In honor of the finale of American Idol, coming this tuesday and wednesday on Fox, I thought it would be fun to take a look back over the past nine seasons and recap what are the best 5 performances we have seen to date, or at least the ones I consider to be the best. Each day I will post a video of the performance and just give a brief rundown. Let's start today with the 5th best performance


#5 Jennifer Hudson - I Have Nothing

If you can recall all the way back to season 3, when Jennifer was on the show, she went through weeks of struggle. You could tell that she had this amazing instrument, but it was like no matter how hard she tried she could not pull any of the songs off. Finally, it changed. If I recall correctly, her first really solid performance was a week prior to this one, but when she did I Having Nothing, everyone knew she was going to become somebody someday. Take a listen to this, Justin's choice for the fifth best performance on American Idol. And, dont forget, check back every day for the next performance in line!

Um, BANG is right! Marc Jacobs, fashion icon and regulation hottie, decided to bear it all and wear his birthday suit in an advertisement for his new mens fragrance, Bang. Now, for your folks who hope to see a little peen action, you will be sadly disappointed, because covering the area where the sun doesn't shine you will find an oversized bottle of the fragrance bottle. However, if you enjoy looking at muscly fashion designers, look no further. For this we are going to give two thumbs up, five stars, eleven on a scale of one to ten, and whatever other big ratings we can give it!

Back as a bad girl

After a marriage and a new baby boy, X-Tina is back and badder than ever. Her new album, 'Bionic' hits stores June 8 and I am predicting something fierce!

There has been lots of talk about her new image, however. As a die hard Lady Gaga fan, I see many similarities between Christina and Gaga. I like to call her look K-Mart Gaga. But, I am hoping it is just a looks she enjoys and will not try to outshine anyone. But moving along...

Christina released a track on May 8 featuring Young Money's bad girl, Nicki Minaj. The song entitled "Woohoo" sounds like it could be a club banger, or at least something a tight posse of girls can bump in their car on a Saturday night cruise!




Besides the release of her new album, X-Tina is gearing up for her summer tour. This 20-city tour will go from July 15 to Aug 19.
