Fun for fall – Four things I (and you) must have!

Summer is sadly ending and every store you enter, every website you shop on; Fall is in your face! I have put together a short list of what you should think about adding to your shopping cart for the upcoming season. I know I will!

1. Boyfriend blazer – We saw this trend last fall and it’s making a sexy comeback. Take the boyfriend blazer from the boardroom to the bar. This is a chic little number that is sure to turn heads.
Urban Outfitters Silence and Noise Boyfriend Blazer $78
*Looks great with skinny jeans or mid-length floral dresses

2. Oxford shoes - Also known as tuxedo shoes, these are androgynous footwear to jazz up an outfit.
Steve Madden Tuxxedo $55.97
*Looks great with rolled up skinny jeans and Boyfriend Blazers

3. Tights – Not plain opaque tights, I’m talking crazing designs and fierce colors. Tights this fall have to make a statement.
Betsey Johnson Finger Paint Printed Tights $28 (from Urban Outfitters)
*Looks great with tasteful mini skirts

4. Hats – Any hat is a good hat. From knitted to fitted, fall just screams hats!
Forever 21 Chic Wool Cloche $13.80
*Looks great with anything!

Shop online at Love Culture

Fashionistas who enjoy shopping in pjs and slippers in front of a computer screen will have something to look forward to next month. Coming in June, trendy girls will be able to purchase their favorite Love Culture looks from the store’s website. No specific date however has been released as to when the actual online store will be open.

Love Culture is kind of like the mutt love child of Forever 21, Guess and Juicy Couture – if that were possible. The store was created by former Forever 21 Senior Vice President, Jai Rhe, who wanted to open an establishment where 20-somethings could shop for trendy clothes at affordable prices. Rhee describes Love Culture’s clothing as “high-low” fashion options; meaning ladies can pair lower costing Love Culture garments with higher priced pieces to create a fashion-forward look.

Love Culture stores are mostly located on the west coast, but with this new option to shop online, everyone can join in on the fun! If you reside in Michigan like I do, you can always check out Love Culture located at Partridge Creek Mall in Clinton Township.

June is only a few weeks away, so get excited!! (:
